Local Chambers Welcome Credit Union

Normally, when a business joins a Chamber of Commerce, they celebrate by hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Sometimes, two nearby chambers will join forces and host a double ceremony. Very rarely will more than two collaborate for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

On January 9, three chambers did just that. The Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce, the Melissa Area Chamber of Commerce and the McKinney Chamber of Commerce gathered in one event to celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The chambers welcomed Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union.

The McKinney location is the fifth RBFCU branch in the Dallas/Fort Worth area – the 59th location for the entire company.

RBFCU Senior Vice President of Operations Mark Matthews said this new location makes banking convenient for local members. “We are excited to see the continued growth in the service to our members in North Texas,” said Matthews. “We have many members in McKinney who have driven to our Allen location and our other branches in Collin County. We are gratified that the reception to the credit union way of life has been so positive throughout the area.”

Even though RBFCU’s roots are in San Antonio, the company spread its wings and landed in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 2014. The website boasts as currently being the second largest credit union in Texas and the twelfth largest in the United States.

Matthews said McKinney members can expect the same phenomenal level of service and low rates for car loans, small business loans and services.
